Allison Russell and Kim Laws (yes they really are sisters) have planned several elegant weddings, including their own, on tight budgets over the years. They had so much fun with this that they decided to share their knowledge with even more brides. They understand that sometimes less is more, and elegant is not necessarily synonymous with expensive.
Kim and Allison grew up in Johnson City TN. Both are graduates of Science Hill, and have lived and worked in the Tri-Cities their entire lives. They are both happily married with children.
Allison is a certified Academy of Wedding Professionals wedding planner. She also holds a B.A. from East Tennessee State University. She has worked in the customer service industry for 10 years, and knows how to handle people (a.k.a. can get you through those "bridezilla" moments.)
Kim Laws has worked as in the retail industry for 20 years, and has been in management for 10. She is experienced with dealing with vendors on both a personal and professional level. She has also spent many hours studying wedding etiquette.
